Welcome to Ramona CERT

Please particiate in weekly CERT radio checks on Family Service Radio Channel 1 on Wednesdays at 07:30 pm.

The Ramona Community Response Team was created to assist the community when  disaster strikes.  In cooperation with the Ramona Municipal Water District, Ramona Fire, and CAL FIRE, members are dispatched to provide shelter, search and rescue, and other needed services when emergency services are overwhelmed!

Ramona CERT  transmits vital disaster information on both Amateur (HAM) and Family Service radios that the public can listen in. FRS radios are available at most stores.

During the "Witch Fire" members served up to nine days providing a variety of disaster services. 

Team members are required to attend a CERT academy, attend regular meetings, and trainings. Members are activated by cell phone SMS text messaging.
