The CAL-FIRE/Ramona Fire Department Exploring program is an official department function. It is the intent of the Department, in conjunction with the Learning for Life Program, to offer young adults real life experiences, training, and exposure to the Fire service. Explorers use this experience to advance to Reserve firefighter and beyond.
REQUIREMENTS
* Must be 15 to 21 years old.
* Be medically cleared to participate
* Clean criminal record
* If enrolled in High School, applicant is able to maintain at least a 2.0 "C" average.
* Explorers are prohibited from drug and alcohol use
